Western Loudoun Outfitters is a family owned business located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Loudoun County, Virginia. From the prairie potholes of South Dakota to the briny tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay, waterfowl and magnificent retrievers have been a major part of our lives.

It was realized long ago while guiding goose hunters on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that a quality bred Labrador was indispensable. Not a season has gone by since 1980 that a strong well bred lab has not stood poised to leap into frigid waters or sprint across a snow covered cornfield to retrieve a heavy Canada goose.

When Goose Hunting on the famous Eastern Shore of Maryland came to a close in the late 80’s a new opportunity arose in the Piedmont region of Virginia. Canada Geese took up residence on the ponds and lakes of the Northern Virginia landscape. Those first resident geese exploded into a goose Mecca that rivals the greatest days on the eastern shore. As an access point to this new opportunity, Western Loudoun Outfitters was created and we began guiding goose hunts. The local population of geese soon attracted migrating Canada’s from the north and the rest is history. We still hunt over large, well bred, Labrador Retrievers and have been so pleased with the quality of our dogs, that breeding them came as an unquestionable option. We produce sound quality labs that are built for field work. These are hunting dogs with both Sires and Dams who are part of our family. We raise pups that are not only outstanding in the field but welcome in the home…..We guarantee it!!!
